NBC’s ‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’ Hits 7 Million Viewers While ‘Christmas at Graceland’ From Riley Keough Reaches 5.2 Million (EXCLUSIVE)

NBC saw solid ratings on Wednesday night with the airing of two Christmas specials

Airing from 8-10 p.m. on Nov. 29, the annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special reached an audience of 7 million people when accounting for three days of delayed viewing across NBC, Peacock and digital platforms. That number, calculated from a combination of Nielsen measurement and NBCUniversal’s proprietary data, marked the best viewership for the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting since 2020. The special was the most-watched program on TV that night, and improved on last year’s viewership by 7%. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, it earned a strong 0.8 rating.

This year’s “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” was hosted by Kelly Clarkson and featured performances by Chloe Bailey, Adam Blackstone, Cher, David Foster, Liz Gillies, Darlene Love, Seth MacFarlane, Barry Manilow, Katharine McPhee, Keke Palmer, Carly Pearce and Manuel Turizo. The special hailed from Brad Lachman Productions, with Brad Lachman and Bill Bracken as executive prodcers. Glenn Weiss served as director.

Airing directly afterwards was the first-ever “Christmas at Graceland,” a live holiday special taped from Elvis Presley’s home that was executive produced by his granddaughter, Riley Keough. 5.2 million viewers tuned in across three days of viewing on all platforms. During the 10 p.m. timeslot, it was the most-watched program and also scored the highest rating in the key demo with a 0.5.

Alanis Morissette, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone,and the War and Treaty all performed in “Christmas at Graceland.” Keough executive produced alongside Gina Gammell through their Nummum banner. Other executive producers include Graceland’s Joel Weinshanker; Done + Dusted’s Raj Kapoor, Katy Mullan and Ian Stewart; and Authentic Studios’ Colin Smeeton, Matthew Gross and Marc Rosen. Patrick Menton co-executive produced for Done + Dusted.
