NBC Buys ‘Reversible Error’ Legal Drama From Barbara Curry & Chris Morgan

NBC has put in development Reversible Error, an hourlong legal drama from The Boy Next Door scribe Barbara Curry and Fast & Furious franchise writer Chris Morgan. Universal TV is producing with studio-based Chris Morgan Prods.

Written by Curry, Reversible Error follows a former high-powered attorney who is freed from prison after her conviction for murdering her husband is reversed. Now she must piece her shattered life back together, and find her husband’s true killer, before a vindictive D.A. finds a way to prosecute her again. Curry will executive producer alongside Morgan and his head of development, Ainsley Davies.

Curry spent a decade as federal prosecutor at the U.S. Attorney’s office before segueing to screenwriting, penning the Universal and Blumhouse feature The Boy Next Door, which starred Jennifer Lopez. She was also hired to rewrite Fox 2000’s The Jury for Marc Forster and Brad Simpson. She is repped by APA, Heroes & Villains, and attorney Ryan Nord.

Morgan created the Fox drama series Gang Related. He is repped by ICM Partners and attorney Jeff Frankel.
