NBA YoungBoy Is Out of Jail

YoungBoy Never Broke Again (fka NBA YoungBoy, real name Kentrell Gaulden) is now out of jail after three months, a representative for his record label confirms. He was detained in May for an alleged probation violation. One of the terms of his probation was to refrain from social media activity, and Judge Bonnie Jackson ordered him to be detained when she saw a video of him allegedly “talking trash and smack.”

Gaulden’s three years of probation began in 2017 for aggravated assault with a firearm. In the social media posts that reportedly violated his probation, he was discussing a shooting attack in Miami where he was reportedly targeted. In the May 12 attack, Gaulden’s girlfriend was wounded and a bystander was killed. Gaulden was not injured.
