The Philadelphia 76ers were able to pick up a rather easy 116-91 win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night to begin a four-game road trip. They jumped out to a 23-1 lead as they had the right mindset entering the contest. The Bulls really couldn’t match up as Philadelphia led by as many as 31 on their way to the easy win.

De’Anthony Melton had a huge night and led the Sixers with 25 points and three steals, Tyrese Maxey had 21 points, five rebounds, and four assists, and Tobias Harris had 20 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. They were terrific all night and they held the Bulls to 6-for-25 shooting from deep.

However, the story afterward was about the health of Joel Embiid. The big fella didn’t play in the second half due to what ended up being right mild calf tightness. He had 12 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in 16 minutes. Coach Doc Rivers did say that they expect him to play on Friday when they take on the Golden State Warriors.
