Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Section 108 Release Date Postponed?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is known for films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Manto, has left fans eagerly anticipating his upcoming drama thriller, Section 108. However, the filmmakers have reportedly postponed the release date of the film.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Section 108 to release in May 2024

Celebrated for his versatility and compelling performances, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been making waves in Bollywood with stellar acting. Now, the actor is coming up with a drama thriller titled Section 108.

However, as mentioned earlier, cinephiles will have to wait a little longer since the release date has been delayed. Originally slated for a February 2, 2024, release, Section 108’s release date has now been rescheduled to the end of May.

Ankit Kumar Pandey and Mahavash, the film’s producers, revealed the unexpected shift. In a recent statement, they shared, “We have decided to postpone the release of the movie to May end — tentatively. Our actor’s dates couldn’t match the schedule and some locations were not available as well. And we were not ready to compromise with the quality at any cost. Finally, we are on floor for our final schedule and are all set to release in May end.”

Helmed by Rasikh Khan, Section 108 features a star-studded cast. Other than Nawazuddin Siddiqui, it also includes Arbaaz Khan, Regina Cassandra, Aasif Khan, Rumi Khan, Saanand Verma, and Alisshaa Ohri.

Furthermore, Siddiqui recently shared his unwavering dedication to the craft in an interview on Unfiltered by Samdish. He expressed, “If I don’t have work tomorrow, I don’t even have the strength to go and ask for it. I will sell my house, my shoes, and everything and make a film on my own.”

As it is, fans can expect Nawazuddin Siddiqui to keep on delivering one unique project after another. Following his Telugu debut in the recently released film Saindhav, Section 108 will continue to redefine his craft.
