Navarro College Fine Arts Department Unveils Exciting Fall Lineup
Oct. 10—Navarro College is delighted to invite the community to a season of exceptional performances presented by its renowned Fine Arts Department. All productions are free of charge, emphasizing the college's commitment to making the arts accessible to everyone.
The Fine Arts Department at Navarro College boasts accomplished instructors dedicated to providing unique and meaningful experiences for their students. Last year, the Navarro College Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Joshua Buckrucker and Mr. Tim Nutting, had the honor of performing at the prestigious Percy Grainger Wind Band Festival in Chicago, Illinois.
Further, Dr. Shellie O'Neal's play, "911 Gnomes: A Christmas Emergency," was chosen as one of the 20 plays worldwide to be featured at the RAVE Theater Festival in New York City. Nine Navarro College Theatre students and alumni delivered five captivating performances at the La Tea Theatre in the Clement Cultural Center on New York City's Lower East Side.
