The Nature Conservancy Global Photo Contest returns for Michigan nature lovers
If you’re a Michigan nature-lover who is always taking the perfect nature clicks, you can now submit your photos for a chance to win prizes and a virtual meeting with YouTuber Coyote Peterson, star of "Brave Wilderness."
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is now accepting entries for its global photo contest. Entries can include wildlife, landscape, and other nature photos.
Photos will be judged in the following six categories: people and nature, landscape, water, wildlife, plants or fungi, and climate.
The judging panel will include Peterson plus photographers and documentary filmmakers like Ami Vitale, Brian Adams, Smita Sharma, and Luciano Candisani, along with TNC staff.
“Michigan is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, from fall foliage in the Upper Peninsula to picturesque lakeside sunsets and sunlit forests,” said TNC Michigan’s state director Helen Taylor in a news release. “We’re encouraging professional and amateur photographers in the Great Lakes State to submit their photos and show the world why Michigan is an outdoor lover’s dream.”
