National Cinema Day brings cheap movie tickets, snacks to Indianapolis this weekend
If you haven't seen either half of Barbenheimer yet, or have some other must-see on your list, this weekend may be the time.
Sunday is National Cinema Day and several local theaters are offering plenty of deals to celebrate.
From discounts on food and drinks to tickets, here's what to expect at local locations for the weekend, along with some ongoing promotions.

AMC Indianapolis 17 deals
AMC announced they will be offering $4 tickets and $5 popcorn and fountain drink combos all day long on Sunday.
They also have a few other promotions that aren't related to Sunday's deals, including a Gran Turismo ticket entering you into a PlayStation prize pack drawing and a chance to win 1,000 bonus points if you buy a ticket to Equalizer 3 during select dates.

Living Room Theaters
To celebrate Cinema Day, Living Room Theaters is offering $4 tickets all day for every showing, they announced on their Facebook page.
You can see the cinematic classic 'The Seventh Seal' for free on Sunday as part of the theater's weekly free screening.
Sitting at a cool 93 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, the film established Ingmar Bergman as a world-renowned director.

Regal UA Circle Centre
Regal Cinemas are following suit and also offering $4 tickets to go along with $4 popcorn and small drink combos.
Regal Crown Club members will also earn 4,000 extra credits when they see a movie in IMAX on National Cinema Day.
Aside from Sunday-specific deals, the theater also offers an unlimited screenings package that includes all 2D movies for as low as $18.99 a month.

Landmark Keystone Art Cinema
Landmark is also advertising $4 tickets on Sunday on their website, along with their ongoing Film Aficionado Ticket Books promotion. The books come with 25 tickets at a discounted rate of $9.00 per ticket.
The theater also shows retro movies each week, with some dating back to the 1930's, and $5 tickets to movies you may have missed.
Kan-Kan Cinema and Brasserie
It isn't part of the deal day, or even happening this week, but movie fans should add this to their schedule.
They are showing 'The Room,' one of the best bad movies of all time, with commentary from one of the stars on Sept. 9.

Kan-Kan hasn't specified any National Cinema Day deals, but on Sunday you can see one of the best baseball movies of all time as 'The Sandlot' is returning to the big screen with kids pricing. Also, the restaurant will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers starting at 5 p.m.
