New exciting restaurant featuring fresh seafood, scrumptious steaks opens in Boca Raton
Eddie V isn't an actual guy, but if it were, it'd be the guy who could boast he's got connections in the fresh seafood markets from here to there and a chef who can serve it up just right as you relax to live music in his place. And he just opened a spot near you at Mizner Park in Boca Raton.
Eddie V is really a name plucked from the names of business men and founders of Eddie V's Prime Seafood: Larry Edward Foles and Guy Villavaso. And it's the name that adorns restaurants in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. The Boca location, opened in September, is the fourth in the Sunshine State, behind openings in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa.
Eddie V's focuses on creating a luxurious experience that mixes fine dining, creative cocktails and live music for a great night out.
On a mission to provide the finest seafood, the restaurant uses the freshest local catches, but is also known for flying in seafood from all around the world. Some of these imported selections include swordfish from Block Island, Rhode Island, Georges Bank scallops and yellowfin tuna from the Caribbean.

Menu highlights at Eddie V's Prime Seafood restaurant in Boca Raton
In addition to fresh fish, Eddie V's menu also features a selection of prime steaks, hand carved daily by an in-house butcher and then wet aged for 40 days for maximum tenderness and flavor.
The restaurant's culinary style is classic American with a touch of modern Asian.
Some of the signature seafood dishes include Chilean sea bass, steamed Hong Kong style with a light soy broth; Mediterranean Branzino, roasted with artichokes, oven-dried tomatoes and olive tapenade; Norwegian salmon, featuring a mustard-rye whiskey glaze along with baby carrots and spinach and South African lobster, which includes two tails broiled with drawn butter.
On the "turf" side, there are multiple cuts of prime beef from 10 oz. center cut filet mignon to the impressive 22 oz. prime bone-in ribeye.
Some of the sides sound so good they could be entrees like the butter poached lobster and aged white cheddar mashed potatoes, the truffled macaroni and cheese or the crab fried rice with mushrooms and scallions.
