From Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart to Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, some celebrity friendships have stood the test of time to celebrate National Best Friends Day.
Each year on June 8, best friends across the nation can celebrate their new, long or familial friendships. For some celebrity friends, like Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey, their friendships have lasted more than four decades.
In a sit-down interview with People in April, the duo said they met in 1976 after a snowstorm.
"She became my mother, my sister my friend," Winfrey said. "She became all the things I never had."
Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg formed a friendship that resulted in the TV show ''Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party" that premiered in 2016.
