Nathan Osmond is giving a glimpse of what his exponentially large Osmond family gatherings are like.

"A stadium rental," the country artist, 46, who is the son of Alan Osmond, jokes to PEOPLE while out at Media.com's "The Power of Reputation" panel at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

The nephew of Donny and Marie Osmond — and their seven brothers — is one of eight boys. "I think there's like 57 grandkids. I have four boys myself. Donny has five boys. Jay has three boys. So there's I think only 17 girls and several were adopted."

"So you literally have to adopt girls to get 'em in the Osmond family. We just don't produce them," Nathan teases.

"The Tailgate Song" singer's uncle Donny, 66, has 14 grandkids and Marie, 64, who raised eight children, has eight grandchildren.

The Osmonds, who were comprised of Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay and later Donny, skyrocketed to fame in the 1970s with hits such as "One Bad Apple" and "Down by the Lazy River."

In 1976, Donny, now 66, and Marie, 64, began their own act separate from their brothers via a self-titled variety show called Donny & Marie.

"The Osmond family makes up half the state of Utah, so you're bound to run into one of us while you come up here to the Sundance Film Festival. But we love Utah. Utah's always been home. We're so grateful Robert Redford brought Hollywood to Utah," he added.
