Hip-Hop legend Nate Dogg’s wife and children will receive proceeds from the late crooner’s estate, which has been valued at $2.7 million.

The latest development concerning Nate Dogg’s estate comes following a lengthy legal battle involving the singer’s wife, LaToya Calvin, his surviving children, and their mothers. According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, the $2.7 million from the estate will be split evenly among Nate Dogg’s wife and his nine children by multiple women.

All of Nate Dogg’s outstanding debts, including $144,000 owed in taxes to the IRS, had been paid and accounted for prior to the final valuation of the estate was determined. Additionally, all of his financial obligations to his children have been settled as of the time of the payout.

The valuation and division of Nate Dogg’s estate has come with its fair share of drama, as his wife, LaToya Calvin, became embroiled in a heated dispute with six of the rapper’s children regarding the estate after appointing herself as its executor.

While the rap singer’s children argued and provided proof that he had filed for divorce against Calvin just weeks prior to his death, it was determined that Calvin was Nate Dogg’s legal wife at the time of his passing, thus entitling her to proceeds from his estate.

During the course of the legal battle, it was also determined that Nate Dogg had fathered nine children in total, instead of six, as was initially believed.
