Natasha Lyonne Dares to Wear Gravity-Defying Futuristic Gown to 2024 Golden Globes: 'The Coolest, Maybe'

The actress called the strapless dress an "art piece" at the award show, where she received a nod for her role in 'Poker Face'

Natasha Lyonne went bold for the 2024 Golden Globes.

On Sunday, the Orange Is the New Black alum, 44, arrived at the Globes in a breathtaking Maison Schiaparelli gown that she described as an "art piece."

While speaking with Extra TV at the award show, the Poker Face star showed off the strapless, backless dress — and, particularly, how its tassels move — calling it “the coolest, maybe.”

When asked how the futuristic gown — which features a strapless neckline with pointed, protruding details — is able to defy gravity, Lyonne said she wasn’t sure but offered her praise to Schiaparelli’s artistic director, Daniel Roseberry.

“I don't know,” she admitted. “Masterpiece work? Daniel is a genius.”

Also in her Extra TV interview, Lyonne dubbed herself a “big fan” of the French fashion house, and called the dress an “art piece.”

"I'm very actually honored to wear it because I'm a lover of the arts,” Lyonne told the outlet, adding that it’s “more fun when it's actually an art piece.”

Lyonne let the textured, floor-length Schiaparelli gown speak for itself, enhancing the futuristic look with minor details — a metallic manicure and a pair of gold earrings.

For hair and makeup, she opted for a warm glam and pulled her red tresses up into a bouncy updo.

At the 2024 Golden Globes, Lyonne was up for best performance by a female actor in a musical or comedy series for Poker Face, but The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri ultimately took home the award.
