Kages are so irrelevant in front of the Otsutsuki that they’re not even a severe problem for them. Almost every Otsutsuki in the series has access to powerful Kekkei Genkai and godly abilities. However, who is the most vital member of this clan, and what makes them stand out from the rest?

5. Momoshiki Otsutsuki

It was in Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Momoshiki was introduced as the main antagonist, along with Kinshiki Otsutsuki. Both of them landed on Earth to continue their search for the Nine-Tails. Among these two, Momoshiki was clearly the more potent.

He was extremely powerful, as he took on Naruto and Sasuke simultaneously—two of the most powerful Shinobi in the world, which implies how insanely powerful Momoshiki was. Momoshiki had the powers of the Byakugan and possessed the Rinnegan on top of that.

4. Kaguya Otsutsuki

The being with whom Chakra came to life in the series, Kaguya came to earth centuries ago and became a ruler. Carrying the blood of this clan, she was already quite formidable. However, devouring the fruit God Tree bore made her even more vital.

She was strong enough to stand her ground against Hagoromo and Hamura simultaneously. She wielded Byakugan along with the Rinne-Sharingan, which implies how powerful she was. He wanted to turn Kawaki into a perfect Otsutsuki, and his first step was to make him his next vessel. Naruto was only able to defeat Isshiki after entering Baryon Mode, which involved Kurama sacrificing himself. Despite being defeated, the fact that the Nine-Tail had to sacrifice himself in order to beat Otsutsuki defines his immense power.

1. Shibai Otsutsuki

The most vital member of the Otsutsuki clan was Shibai. Amado mentioned his name for the first time, and it is said that he existed long before Kaguya came to Earth. He also soared across different planets, eating Chakra fruit to grow stronger. This led to a point where he actually ascended to godhood and left behind his mortal reality. Shibai is believed to be an actual god in Boruto. However, there isn’t much known about him.
