We love a Netflix crime show, even more so when it's based on a chilling true story. And it's good news for fans, as South Korean crime drama Narco-Saints has landed on the streamer.

Released last week (9 September), the series has already shot straight into Netflix's Top 10 list, with viewers all now saying the same thing about the K-drama.

Set in Suriname, Narco-Saints' official synopsis reads: "An ordinary entrepreneur joins a secret government mission to capture a Korean drug lord operating in South America." And, yep, it's based on true events.

What's more, the show also stars Squid Game's Park Hae-soo as National Intelligence Service team leader Choi Chang-ho. However, there's another cast member that fans have turned their attention to, and that's Jo Woo-jin who plays gangster Byeon Ki-tae.

Fans took to Twitter to share their reactions to the series cast, and they're pretty unanimous on one thing: Jo Woo-jin outright stealing the show.

One viewer tweeted, "I just finished Narco-Saints and Jo Woo-jin is such a good actor. Stole the show completely."

Another added, "Binged Narco-Saints coz of Hwang Jung-min but the real revelation was this duuude! Jo Woo-jin is the 💣💣💣." A third gushed, "Jo Woo-jin appreciation in my [timeline] after Narco-Saints! yayyy DESERVED."

Others pointed out just how different the actor looks in Narco-Saints compared to previous roles - the hallmark of good acting if you ask us. They wrote, "Jo Woo-jin is so good at acting. I didn't realise I was watching him in Narco-Saints WTF."

Narco-Saints is streaming now on Netflix.
