Naomi Campbell Reveals Terrifying Attack in Paris, Sympathizes With Kim Kardashian

Naomi Campbell visited The Wendy Williams Show and opened up for the first time about being attacked in Paris, just like her friend Kim Kardashian, who was robbed at gunpoint in October by men who tied her up and stole about $10 million worth of jewelry. Naomi told Wendy that she had been through an experience similar to Kim’s. “They followed me from the airport. They attacked me. They opened the car door and said, ‘Naomi Campbell, we’re going to kill you.’”

Like Kim, Naomi was alone and didn’t have security with her. She recounted how she became suspicious when she was picked up from the airport by someone other than her normal driver. “It was weird because he had the window rolled down … it was freezing cold in November.” Naomi was on her way to designer Azzedine Alaïa’s apartment when the horrifying incident occurred. “Thank God [the incident] was outside Azzedine Alaïa’s shop, because that’s where the entrance to get into the house is. [My friends] came out and saved me. In the interim, you decide in a very split moment … ‘Am I going to let this guy take my bag with all my passports, or am I going to go for it?’ My decision was, ‘I am not letting my bag go.’”

Naomi continued, “The driver was in on it. It’s a whole ring that’s been happening for a few years now.” She said that she sympathizes with Kim and that she hated “hearing these stories that it wasn’t true. It was absolutely true, and it happened to me, and it’s happened to a few other people that I’m not at liberty to say, but are well-known also.”

We’re just happy that everyone is OK!
