Nancy O'Dell has separated from husband Keith Zubchevich, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
The Entertainment Tonight host filed for legal separation in early September, says a source, adding that the split is amicable and occurred well ahead of the recently released 2005 hot mic conversation with Donald Trump, in which he is heard speaking vulgarly about O'Dell and other women.
On the leaked audio, the embattled GOP nominee is heard telling former Access Hollywood anchor Billy Bush about sexual advances he made on O'Dell, who was then Bush's co-host and identified on the tape by first name only. "I moved on her, and I failed. I'll admit it," Trump, who was already married to Melania Trump at the time, is heard saying about O'Dell. "I did try and f - her. She was married." (Bush has since been suspended from his current post on the Today show.)
O'Dell and Zubchevich wed in 2005 and have a daughter, Ashby, 9. O'Dell was previously married to Richard O'Dell and is stepmother to Zubchevich's two sons, Tyler and Carson, from a previous marriage.
After the Access Hollywood tape made headlines, the entertainment host released a statement and shared a message about Trump's sexually aggressive comments on Monday's ET, saying, "My name was mentioned and unfortunately, the release of it has thrown me into the middle of the political arena of which I didn't ask to be a part."
She continued, "There is no room for objectification of women, or anyone for that matter, not even in the 'locker room.' The conversation has got to change because everybody deserves respect, no matter the gender or setting. As a mom, I have to add that our kids - especially our young girls - need to know that their hard work, their achievements, their intelligence, their heart are most important. And those things will not go unnoticed."
