Celebrity Bravo fans like Keke Palmer and Jon Hamm have done their best impressions of stars from the 'Real Housewives,' 'Vanderpump Rules' and more

Charles Sykes/Bravo
Andy Cohen and Kevin Hart

Andy Cohen and Kevin Hart

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen has made a habit of brining together some of the biggest celebrities to recreate infamous scenes from Bravo's most-popular shows, like The Real Housewives, Vanderpump Rules, Southern Charm, and Summer House.

The segment — dubbed "Clubhouse Playhouse" — has featured stars like Julia Roberts, Jon Hamm, Bryan Cranston, Keke Palmer, Matt Bomer, Milo Ventimiglia, Ralph Fiennes, Issa Rae, Will Ferrell, Maya Rudolph, and more. They're often joined by the Bravolebirites themselves, or in some cases, by host Andy Cohen.

Just on Friday, Kevin Hart joined the party, taking on one of the network's buzziest moments.

Below, relive some of the best segments from across the years.

Kevin Hart as Heather Gay from 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 4 reunion ended with a shock, when Heather Gay exposed costar Monica Garcia as one of the people behind Reality Von Tease, a troll account that had been dragging the Bravo cast for years online.

Her speech quickly went viral, with everyone from drag queens to dancers putting their own spin on it. And in January 2024, Hart joined them when he recited what Cohen dubbed "the soliloquy that is gripping the nation" during a visit to WWHL.

"This is big," Hart said, before starting the speech. He then stood up and looked directly in the camera as he shouted Gay's "receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots" lines. "Pack your bags and GO!" he said at the end.

"Unbelievable" Cohen gushed, hugging Hart after the performance.

Julia Roberts as Sutton Stracke from 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

Roberts won an Oscar for playing Erin Brockovich in the 2000 film of the same name. But her greatest role — in the eyes of Bravo fans, that is — just might be Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke.

Together with Coehn, who played Stracke's friend and costar Kyle Richards, the actress perfectly embodied the southern belle in December 2023 as the two recreated the instantly iconic “Name ‘Em” scene from RHOBH's 13th season. The only thing missing was a blonde wig to capture Stracke's locks, though as Cohen learned on WHHL, Roberts has a thing with wigs.

Jon Hamm and John Slattery as James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval from 'Vanderpump Rules'

Mad Men stars Hamm and John Slattery played two of Vanderpump Rules' biggest mad men in June 2023, when they reenacted James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval's beloved "worm with a mustache" back and forth during the season 10 reunion.

Hamm, an outspoken Bravo fan, perfectly captured Kennedy's’ British accent and outrage, while Slattery hilariously wondered, "Am I supposed to have English accident?"

Bryan Cranston as Ariana Madix from 'Vanderpump Rules'

Six-time Emmy winning actor Cranston has never seen an episode of Vanderpump Rules. But that didn't stop him from giving his all while playing Ariana Madix in June 2023.

The star put his own spin on Madix's monologue that she delivered to Sandoval during the Vanderpump Rules season 10 finale, much to the delight of fellow guest Maya Hawke.

"Is it alright that I don't know what I'm doing?" he asked before standing up for the cold reading.

"You got this," she said, cheering him on.

Milo Ventimiglia and Alan Cumming as Luis Ruelas and Joe Gorga from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'

One of The Real Housewives of New Jersey's biggest blowups in recent history didn't involve the Housewives — it involved the Househusbands when Luis Ruelas (Teresa Giudice's now husband) and Joe Gorga (Giudice's brother and Melissa Gorga's husband) got into it during boys night back in season 13.

To recreate the moment, Ventimiglia and Alan Cumming put on their best Jersey accents during a February 2023 episode of WWHL. And though the words were the same, the duo brought a perfect level of fun to the heated exchange.

"Emmys all around" said Cohen, afterwards.

Ralph Fiennes as Lisa Barlow on 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'

Fiennes brought an unmitigated passion to his performance as Lisa Barlow on WWHL.

The Tony winner and two time Oscar nominee — who is a close friend of Cohen's — gave his all when he recreated Barlow's infamous behind-the-door "hot mic" rant about her RHOSLC costar, Meredith Marks, when he visited WWHL in November 2022. It was so good, in fact, that he received a standing ovation.

After the monologue, Cohen explained that he sent Ralph the text beforehand and saw the actor "marked it up" beforehand.

"I worked on it," he said. "I didn't think you would noticed that!"

Danielle Brooks and Ike Barinholtz as Mary M. Cosby and Lisa Barlow from 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'

Mary M. Cosby and Barlow's bickering over fast food inspired a February 2022 installment of "Clubhouse Playhouse," with Danielle Brooks and Ike Barinholtz taking on the portraying the RHOSLC stars.

The two actors appeared to enjoy themselves so much that when Barinholtz screamed, "Lisa Barlow is an amazing human being!" at the end, it was clear hasn't just quoting Barlow himself.

Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers as Crystal Kung Minkoff and Sutton Stracke from 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

Las Culturistas co-hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers make no secret of thier love for all things Bravo. So during a visit to WWHL in June 2022, the duo jumped at a chance to bring Crystal Kung Minkoff and Stracke's “ugly leather pants” scene from RHOBH to life.

Though the best friends nailed the tone of the back and forth, they couldn't help but interrupt to offer some important commentary at on point. "No no no no no. no no no no," Yang repeated, Rogers telling audiences, "I love the pants, I love the pants."

Vanessa Bayer as Lindsay Hubbard from 'Summer House'

Vanessa Bayer has been somewhat of a "Clubhouse Playhouse" all-star, playing multiple characters during her appearances on WWHL over the years. But during a visit in May 2022, the Saturday Night Live alumna did some of her best work yet when she united with Summer House star Paige DeSorbo to recreate a scene from the Bravo reality series.

Instead of playing herself, DeSorbo took on the role of costar Amanda Batula while Bayer played Lindsay Hubbard. And even DeSorbo couldn't keep a straight face as the pure perfection of Batula's impression.

Keke Palmer and Karamo Brown as Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant from 'The Real Housewives of Potomac'

Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant's "fiery box" battle from The Real Housewives of Potomac season 6 was given new life during a November 2021 appearance on WWHL, when Palmer and Queer Eye star Karamo Brown stepped into their shoes for a hilarious installment of "Clubhouse Playhouse."

After throwing out the women's insults — like when Huger called Bryant "a broken whore from Hampton University" — Palmer remarked to Cohen, "those girls go in, don't they?"

"Not bringing up her school!" Palmer said, while Brown added, "And her fiery box?"

"Ooh chyle, now that was deep," Palmer said.

Casey Wilson as Danielle Staub from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'

Casey Wilson has been known to do a hilarious reenactment of a Real Housewives scene or two over the years, during the live shows of her popular podcast, Bitch Sesh. So when she stopped by WWHL in March 2020 with RHONJ star Dolores Catania, Cohen saw an opportunity he couldn't miss.

Throwing the two into a scene from RHONJ's 13th season, the Happy Endings actress played Danielle Staub alongside Catania, as the reality star recreated her "welcome back, scumbag" scene. Magic was created in the process.

Issa Rae and Robin Thede as Ashley Darby and Karen Huger from 'The Real Housewives of Potomac'

In honor of A Black Lady Sketch Show, Rae and Robin Thede channeled some other unlikely sketchy comedy stars during their August 2019 appearance on WWHLAshley Darby and Huger, from RHOP.

The two reenacted the "my marriage is an institution" fight between the two RHOP OGs that took place during the show's third season, while the women were in France.

So did the Cannes car shade-off convince Rae and Thede to watch RHOP? "Ahh, yeah," said Rae, while Thede was more realistic. "When I get some time," she said. "We got a show to make."

Lena Dunham as Sonja Morgan from 'The Real Housewives of Nw York City'

Ever the producer, Lena Dunham requested to do a "Clubhouse Playhouse" scene with Real Housewives of New York City star Dorinda Medley when she stopped by WWHL in October 2018.

Sadly, Medley couldn't be there, but through the magic of television (well, green screen), Dunham was able to act alongside a "hologram" Medley. With Dunahm playing Sonja Morgan, the two brought the RHONY's hilarious "clip, clip, clip" scene back to life.

"I love Dorinda," Dunham said afterwards. "I like that she is an independent thinker."

Matt Bomer and Andrew Rannells as Kathryn Dennis and Ashley Jacobs from 'Southern Charm'

Cohen was nervous when he asked Bomer and Andrew Rannells play Southern Charm's Kathryn Dennis and Ashley Jacobs — the then-girlfriend of Dennis' ex Thomas Ravenel — during an episode of WWHL in June 2018.

"This is a vile scene," he warned, of their Hilton Head battle. "The scene may seem serious, hopefully you can bring some humor to it."

Luckily, Bomer and Rannells (who were costarring in Broadway's The Boys in the Band at the time) delivered. They started with ridiculous wigs, added exaggerated southern accents and made sure to end the scene with a laugh (and a group hug from Cohen).

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley as Sonja Morgan and Bethenny Frankel from 'The Real Housewives of New York City'

How did Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley do when they played Sonja Morgan and Bethenny Frankel from the RHONY on a July 2016 episode of WWHL? Absolutely fabulous, of course!

The two British Absolutely Fabulous legends brought a season 7 episode of RHONY back to life, when Morgan and Frankel went at one another over Frankel's insistence that Morgan didn't know what she was talking about when it cam to marketing and public relations. RHONY has never felt so glam!

Emma Roberts and Dave Franco as Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute from 'Vanderpump Rules'

"Is there anything I need to know about this character? I've never seen the show."

"She's crazy. She's a liar. ... She's unhinged."

That's the advice Emma Roberts gave Dave Franco back during at July 2016, before the two actors portrayed Vanderpump Rules stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, respectively, during a visit to WWHL.

The scene in question the two were reading through came from Vanderpump Rules' second season, when Schroeder confronted Doute for hooking up with her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor while the two were watching the movie Drive. It ended with Schroeder slapping Doute — though Roberts kept it more PG for the "Clubhouse Playhouse" version, instead just saying, "Slap!"

Will Ferrell and Maya Rudolph as Shereé Whitfield and Kenya Moore from 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'

SNL icons Ferrell and Rudolph gave WWHL viewers an early Christmas gift on December 2015, when they took on the roles of Real Housewives of Atlanta queens Shereé Whitfield and Kenya Moore.

Of course, as seasoned professionals in sketch comedy, Ferrell and Rudolph fully embodied the roles. They didn't even break character when Rudolph's wig fell off.

"That got tense," Ferrell said afterwards of the scene, grabbed from RHOA's eighth season.
