This day of her life is one of her best yet.
Days of Our Lives star Nadia Bjorlin and husband Grant Turnbull welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday, May 4, in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
Born at 7:03 a.m., son Torin Mathias Turnbull weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz., and measured 21 inches long.
“I never knew I could feel this level of love. My heart could almost burst!” the new mom tells PEOPLE.
“You quickly forget 26 hours of labor when looking into his beautiful little face. We’re beyond ecstatic, happy — life has really just begun.”

Torin’s arrival couldn’t have been more perfect: The baby boy made his big debut the day before Cinco de Mayo — the same theme of Bjorlin’s April baby shower.
“We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and gifts from our friends and family,” the couple told PEOPLE after the baby bash. “This is going to be a very loved little boy.”
