We’re total suckers for anything involving Keanu Reeves (don’t judge us…), so it’s no surprise that we’ve already added this newly resurfaced throwback film to our streaming queue.

Introducing The Whole Truth, a must-watch court drama. The flick originally hit theaters back in 2016, but it just recently claimed a spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies. (It’s currently ranked at number ten behind The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Madagascar 3, Green Zone, Love Happens and Scarface.)

So, what is The Whole Truth about? It focuses on Richard Ramsay (Reeves), a renowned defense attorney who’s been assigned to a difficult case. (Go figure.) His goal is to acquit a teenager, Mike (Gabriel Basso), who’s been accused of murdering his wealthy father.

However, he’s facing a slight problem: Mike won’t talk about, well, anything. So, Richard teams up with a young lawyer in an attempt to break open the case once and for all.

In addition to Reeves and Basso, The Whole Truth features an all-star cast, including Renée Zellweger (Loretta Lassiter), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Janelle Brady), Jim Belushi (Boone Lassiter), Jim Klock (Leblanc), Sean Bridgers (Arthur Westin) and Christopher Berry (Jack Lagrand). Courtney Hunt (Frozen River) directed the movie, while Nicholas Kazan (Fallen) wrote the screenplay.

All rise! Netflix streaming court is officially in session. *Bangs imaginary gavel*
