‘Music on the Square’ welcomes Cruz Contreras for week two

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) – Downtown Jonesborough hosted the second week of ‘Music on the Square’ on Friday, one of the town’s favorite outdoor events.

This week, the stage welcomed Cruz Contreras, a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Contreras is the frontman and founder of the former The Black Lillies, and he has released nine studio albums.

This week’s food truck was Eshta.

‘Music on the Square’ is free and held every Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in front of the Washington County Courthouse on Main Street in downtown Jonesborough.

The event will showcase a variety of music genres, such as jazz and Americana. There will also be a weekly food truck.
