The Music Man kids pick a little, talk a little with Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster
You got trouble, right here in River City, and their names are Emily, Benjamin, and Kayla.
The adorably rambunctious kids of Broadway's The Music Man — Kayla Teruel, Emily Jewel Hoder, and Benjamin Pajak — get to ask their famous costars the hard questions.
In this exclusive video, the child actors play interviewer to Tony nominees Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, who star as Harold Hill and Marian Paroo respectively.
In 76 seconds (heh), Foster and Jackman answer a slew of queries, including their favorite song in the show ("Marian the Librarian" for both of them), their hobbies when they're not onstage (cooking, being a parent, puzzles, crocheting), and what role they'd play in the show besides their own (the kids suggest Jackman and Foster swap, but neither of them seem too keen on that idea).
And, of course, they have to answer the toughest question of all: what's their favorite flavor of ice cream?

Directed by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks with choreography by Tony Award winner Warren Carlyle, this production was originally set to premiere at the Winter Garden Theater in October 2020. Following the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent Broadway shutdown, the show rescheduled its debut for April 2021, eventually pushing the opening once again and opening officially in Feb. 2022.
In his return to Broadway since 2014, Jackman stars as Harold Hill, a conman who visits a small Iowa town and pretends to be the leader of a boys' marching band. But when the town librarian, Foster's Marian, sees right through him, his scheme becomes increasingly complicated.
The Music Man earned six Tony Award nominations, including nods for Best Revival of a Musical, Jackman, Foster, supporting actress Jayne Houdyshell, and choreographer Warren Carlyle.
