Music in Mackinaw announces summer concert lineup

MACKINAW CITY — The 2024 Music in Mackinaw Summer Concert Series will return on July 4 with the Straits Area Concert Band.

More concerts and performances are scheduled throughout the summer, featuring everything from bluegrass to classic rock to folk to gospel. Two comedy acts are also slated to perform.

The complete lineup includes:

  • July 4: Straits Area Concert Band at 9 p.m.

  • July 5: Great Lakes Irish at 8 p.m.

  • July 6: Live Fire - 126th Army Band at 8 p.m.

  • July 9: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • July 12: Inland String Band at 8 p.m.

  • July 13: Full Throttle at 8 p.m.

  • July 16: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • July 19: Melissa & Jake at 8 p.m.

  • July 20: Cool2Duel at 8 p.m.

  • July 23: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • July 26: The Walkers at 8 p.m.

  • July 27: Elizabeth Landry Trio at 8 p.m.

  • July 30: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 6: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 9: The Mickeys at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 10: The Anchor Project at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 13: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 16: The Beachbillies at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 17: Grand Traverse Show Chorus at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 20: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 23: Helen DeBaker at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 24: Kyle Yamada at 8 p.m.

  • Aug. 27: Straits Area Concert Band at 8 p.m.

The concerts are free and take place in Conkling Heritage Park.
