Music is in the Bucks County air. Here's your summer guide to community concerts
With summer bringing longer nights and kids home from school, families may be searching for a way to pass the time. Thankfully, Bucks County has a robust summer concert lineup that can help fill those summer night with the sound of music. Bands are performing across the county as summer is the perfect time to kick back, relax and listen to live music.

Bensalem
Spend summer nights at the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater on Byberry Road. The amphitheater's annual summer concert series returns every Wednesday night from now until Aug. 31 with tickets costing $5 for Bensalem residents and $10 for non-residents.
The summer lineup includes classic hits from an Elvis tribute artist and original music from groups like Triple Rail Turn - The Modern Country Band. Music starts at 7 p.m. at the amphitheater. Go to pcbaevents.com to purchase tickets.
Parx Casino in Bensalem also has live entertainment all summer long. The casino’s Xcite Center is bringing big names like Sheryl Crow and Blondie to Bucks County with new acts every weekend. Purchase tickets online to see the musicians at 2999 Street Road.

Bristol
Classic hits will be playing all season long at Bristol Riverside Theatre’s summer music fest presented by William Penn Bank. The Commodores, the iconic Mowtown group, kicks off the concert series on July 15 at Bristol Township’s outdoor amphitheater on Bath Road. The music continues throughout the summer with concerts set for select dates in July and August.
Shows will also take place inside the 120 Radcliffe St. theater such as the ladies of song nights, from July 21-31, featuring music from Patsy Cline, Rosemary Clooney and Tina Turner.

Doylestown
Doylestown Township is celebrating summer with the Thompson Performing Arts summer concert series at Central Park on Wells Road. The free concert series is held Wednesday nights until Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. and includes a beer garden for guests over 21.
There is something for everyone to enjoy at this concert series with bands from wide-reaching genres such as Motown, rock opera and jazz all given separate nights on the stage.
Beatles fans will also want to check out the Beatles Tribute group, Studio Two, on July 13. The band will energize the crowd by performing hits from the Beatles' most popular touring years.

Falls
Close out your summer weekends at the Falls Township Community Park for its 2022 summer concert series. Every Sunday from June 19 until Sept. 4 the Levittown park on Mill Creek Road will host a different band from 6 to 8 p.m.
The lineup includes several local musicians such as the Tri-County Band from Feasterville and Bucks County-based Uptown String Band known for its performance each year in the Philadelphia Mummers Parade.

Lahaska
Country music fans can enjoy live music from local and regional country and bluegrass performers at Peddler’s Village’s Blueberry Month. Starting July 9, every weekend this month, Peddler's Village will host unique performers like The Back Porch Jug Band on July 16 and 23, who are known for blending old-time tunes with well-known rock music.
In addition to the live music, there will be family fun activities such as face painting and sand art.
You also don't want to miss out on the blueberry-themed food and drink served at the village’s restaurants all month. The events will take place at 2400 Street Road with times of performances varying throughout the afternoon. To check out the other performers go to peddlersvillage.com.
Lower Makefield
The whole family can enjoy late nights and music at Shady Brook Farm for their Friday nights summer unWined. From May 6 until Sept. 2 every week the farm will have live music, food, beer, wine and cocktails starting at 6:30 p.m. The farm's concert lineup is filled with nostalgic music. A Fleetwood Mac tribute band will take the stage on Aug. 5 and a Journey tribute band on Sept. 3 is set to perform for a special Saturday show with fireworks to end the summer.
Kids will also have a fun time as the farm will have activities like backyard games and obstacle courses set up.

Langhorne
There's still time to catch new performances at Langhorne's free summer concert series. There are four shows left for the season taking place on alternating Wednesdays throughout July and August from 7 to 9 p.m.
Rock out at the next show of the series on July 13 with Kid Davis and The Bullets, a rockabilly and Americana band. Or catch the series conclusion on Aug. 24 as the Cherry Lane Band will close out the summer with classic rock and dance music on horns.

Morrisville
With organizers calling it the “biggest outdoor party in the county,” you won't want to miss the Bucks County Blues Festival at Snipes Farm in Morrisville. After two years, the one-day festival returns with contemporary blues music from artists across the east coast.
This year's headliner is Dustin Douglas and the Electric Gentlemen, a Pennsylvania-based blues-rock group.
The Festival kicks off at noon on July 16 ― rain or shine at 890 West Bridge St. Tickets are available online at www.bucksbluesfest.com for $35.00 or $40.00 on-site. Guests are welcome to bring chairs, canopies, coolers and games to make the most of their day at the festival.
Northampton
Listen to live music, without breaking the bank, at Northampton’s free summer concert series.
Sights and sounds of summer concert series will be held on Thursdays until Aug. 4 at Northampton Municipal Park on Hatboro Road.
The music starts at 7 p.m. with acts the whole family can enjoy such as The Fabulous Greaseband on Aug. 4, who will perform a set list with the greatest dance songs from the past. The concert series also lends a stage to community-based music groups like Class Act, on July 21, a band of teachers from Council Rock and Central Bucks School District.

Newtown
Crossing Vineyards and Winery in Newtown invites you to enjoy wine and live music all summer long. The summer wine and music series takes place on select nights in June, July and September, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with guests encouraged to bring food, blankets and lawn chairs.
The vineyard will offer a variety of music including Beach Boys and Billy Joel tribute bands. Tickets cost $15 per person in advance or $20 the week of the concert. Rose Bank Winery in Newtown will also open its doors for live music, wine and food trucks on Saturdays throughout the summer. Patrons can soak in the summer sun at the Newtown winery as these daytime concerts are taking place from noon to 5 p.m at 258 Durham Road.

Perkasie
Head over to Perkasie for the free summer concert series at the new amphitheater in Lenape Park. Concerts will take place on Wednesday and Friday evenings in July and then Wednesdays in August from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
From a Meat Loaf tribute band to a belly dancing group the summer will be filled with lively nights at Lenape Park.
Parking is available at Lenape Park and in the shopping center across the street, but visitors are encouraged to observe and respect the “Business Parking Only” signs in the lot. For a full lineup visit perkasieborough.org.
Quakertown
Music lovers will be thrilled with the lineup for Quakertown’s sounds of summer concert series at the Univest Performance Center on Mill Street. On various dates from July 7 until Aug. 26, well-known musicians will take the stage for this concert series.
Headliners include Pat Benatar on July 7 and country music star Scotty McCreery on July 8. Buy tickets on Quakertown Borough’s website.
