Her dedication to her work is unwavering, and she prefers to keep her distance from others, spending most of her time indoors. However, her life takes a turn after crossing paths with Rudeus. This encounter sparks a transformation in her, raising the question of whether her feelings for the protagonist extend beyond friendship.

Who is Nanahoshi in Mushoku Tensei?

Introduced as the Silent Seven Star to Rudeus during his time in the Magic Academy, Nanahoshi Shizuka hails from the same world as the protagonist. In fact, Rudeus saved her from an accident, after which he was reincarnated in the new world. Following that, she was transported into the world, which caused the Teleport Incident. Orsted was one of the first people she met there. She is a Japanese teenager with long, dark-colored hair and wears a white mask most of the time.

Does Nanahoshi have feelings for Rudeus?

It was towards the end of the first season when Rudeus’s party encountered Nanahoshi and Orsted. The latter demolishes his party and even leaves Rudeus with a life-endangering wound. However, Nanahoshi asks him to heal Rudeus, which saves his life.

These two again meet at Ranoa Magic Academy in Mushoku Tensei, season 2. At first, he recalls the past trauma and tries to run away. However, they talk with each other and resolve their issues. Following this, Rudeus joins hands with Nanahoshi to assist her with magic circles.

They are very comfortable with each other because they belong to the Human World. Their closeness can often be misunderstood as they talk in Japanese. People around them believe they are lovers, but Zanoba revealed that Rudeus’s interaction with Nanahoshi is similar to his interactions with his sisters, Aisha and Norn.
