Muse Singer Matt Bellamy Struggles To Cut Swinging Wedding Cake at Reception

Matt Bellamy is probably rethinking that choice to have a swinging wedding cake at his reception.

The Muse frontman and his new wife, Elle Evans, struggled to stay in control of the airborne cake while they attempted to cut it in front of friends and family following their nuptials on Saturday.

In a video caught by one of the wedding guests, Mr. and Mrs. Bellamy clearly had a hard time cutting into the beautiful multi-tiered cake.

As they bring the knife to the decadent dessert, held up by several vines, their wedding cake just won't stay still.

The couple stayed calm and laughed off their several failed attempts before finally sticking it to the cake, much to the delight of hungry party guests.

That wasn't the only awesome footage their wedding invitees got of the bride and groom.

The singer and his model bride celebrated their first dance as a married couple to Beach House's "Somewhere Tonight."

Bellamy held onto Evans tightly as excited guests gathered around the couple in a circle and cheered.

Bellamy shared the first shot from their wedding on Saturday.

Walking down the aisle right after saying "I do," he captioned the shot, "Mr. & Mrs. Bellamy."

The newlyweds are beaming in the photo, which shows they shared their nuptials while overlooking the water.

Wearing a tan suit and bowtie, Bellamy posed alongside his wife at their head sweetheart table for the reception.

Evans stunned in a strapless lace gown with long attached arm sleeves that she designed in conjunction with Martina Liana Bridal Designs.

The two got engaged in December 2017, three years after his engagement to Kate Hudson.

Bellamy and Hudson never walked down the aisle, calling off their wedding plans in 2014.

He and Hudson share a son, 8-year-old Bingham, together.

Congrats!
