Multitasking Meredith Joins Mile High-Club and Performs Brain Surgery on 'Grey's Anatomy'

Meredith Grey was a busy character on Thursday night's Grey's Anatomy. It took 13 seasons, but the beloved doctor finally reached the mile high club -- and performed brain surgery at 35,000 feet. Meredith found herself traveling on the same flight as current romance interest, Riggs. When Meredith visited the restroom, Riggs followed her into the cramped compartment and joined the mile high club. After enjoying Grey's anatomy, Riggs and Meredith exited the bathroom and returned to their seats right before a vicious spell of turbulence caused many passenger bounce around the fuselage. This resulted in several injuries, including one person who suffered a epidural hematoma. Since the plane was caught in a storm and couldn't land, Meredith had to perform brain surgery to alleviate the pressure in the injured man's head while flying. Using just a syringe and a straw, Meredith was able to successfully drain the passenger's brain and save the day.
