Following a robbery of a Southaven federal firearm licensee, authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the people who participated.

Five unknown suspects stole multiple firearms from Guns & Fine Jewelry in Southaven on May 10, according to a press release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The store declined to clarify how many firearms were stolen.

The ATF Oxford Field Office and the Southaven Police Department are jointly investigating the incident, according to a press release from ATF. The investigation is ongoing.

The award is a part of a national cooperative initiative between ATF and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, according to a press release from ATF. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, which is the trade association for the firearms industry, matches the ATF's reward in cases that involve the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers. In this case, the ATF New Orleans Field Division is offering a reward of up to $2,500 which will be matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
