How much snow has fallen in New York? Storm totals for every region
New York state will see a mixed bag of weather Tuesday.
Portions of Western and Central New York will see a third straight day of snow, with a lake effect system adding up to 3 more inches on top of what everyone received from the weekend storm.
Strong winds and cold temperatures mean a brisk start Tuesday in the Capitol Region, with wind chills going as low as minus 14 in Indian Lake in the Adirondacks.
The mildest weather in New York state will be seen in the lower Hudson Valley on Tuesday, where sunny skies and cooler-than-average temperatures are expected. But blustery conditions are expected throughout the region, with gusts up to 40 mph.
