The "real taste of Italy" has finally arrived.

That's right, at long last DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go is opening in Delray Beach.

Originally slated to open in late May, they will celebrate their grand opening at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22 at their location in the 400 block of East Atlantic Avenue.

The restaurant will open with a special "Fresh Pasta cutting" ceremony and the first 100 customers will be given a free pasta card that they can use on their next visit.

The occasion will also be marked by giveaways of tiramisu and bagged fresh pasta.

Officials with the company said the delay in opening was the result of a few permit and construction setbacks.

Opening their newest location in Delray Beach on Friday, Sept. 22, DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go features four types of pastas, seven sauces and nine different toppings. The Atlantic Avenue shop is their fourth in the United States.

Made fresh is more than a catch phrase for DalMoros.

Using only the highest-grade semolina flour and water, they keep their pasta machines in sight so guests can actually watch it being made fresh multiple times each day.

Franchise owner David Caruso said the flour DalMoros uses is the same as what is used throughout Italy and much of Europe, and because of the exceptional quality it doesn't require any eggs, making it vegan friendly.

They make four types of pasta: fusilli, rigatoni, fettuccine and bigoli.

In addition to fresh-made pasta, all of the establishment's signature sauces are also made from scratch, in house every day.

With locations already in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota and the original in Venice, Italy, DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go will open their Delray Beach restaurant on Friday, Sept. 22 and plans to open a shop on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach later this fall.

The Delray Beach restaurant is the fourth franchise in the United States behind locations in Sarasota, Tampa and St. Petersburg.

A location on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach, which has also been in the works since early 2023, is slated to open later this fall.

Both the Delray Beach and soon-to-open West Palm Beach locations were chosen for their great foot traffic.
