MTV VMAs 2018: Travis Scott, Post Malone, Ariana Grande to Perform

Nicki Minaj, Logic, Jennifer Lopez, and more also slated to take the stage

The MTV VMAs take place on Monday, August 20 in New York City. Today, MTV has revealed that Travis Scott and Post Malone will take the stage during the ceremony. Additionally, Nicki Minaj will appear with a “surprise remote performance” from an “iconic New York location.” The latest run of artists join previously announced performers Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, and Logic with Ryan Tedder. Jennifer Lopez, who is the recipient of this year’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, will also be performing at the award show for the first time since 2011.

The VMAs broadcast airs on August 20 at 9 p.m. Eastern from New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Cardi B is the most nominated artist with 10 nods. The Carters (Beyoncé and JAY-Z) follow with eight nominations. Check out the full list of nominees.
