Will Wakanda be rich in vibranium and golden popcorn?
Heading into Monday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards ceremony (which was filmed on Saturday), Black Panther leads the way with seven nominations, including Best Movie, Best On-Screen Team, and two for star Chadwick Boseman: Best Performance in a Movie and Best Hero.
With Stranger Things and Avengers: Infinity War among the other high-profile properties vying for big wins at the Tiffany Haddish-hosted ceremony, Chris Pratt and Lena Waithe were already guaranteed to go home as winners. For Pratt, the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star was honored with the Generation Award, while Waithe was bestowed the Trailblazer Award.
