Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is defending her physique after a squabble during the House Oversight Committee.

MTG, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) got into a heated exchange last Thursday after Greene said, “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading” to Crockett.

Ocasio-Cortez then asked the committee to take down MTG's words. After some back-and-forth between Taylor Greene and Ocasio-Cortez, Crockett stepped in to ask Chairman James Comer (R-KY), “If someone where to talk about somebody’s bleach-blonde, bad built, butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”

In an Instagram post on Monday, Taylor Greene posted a workout video to seemingly prove Crockett’s comments wrong and to show that she is in shape with Sia's song "Unstoppable" playing in the background.

“Yes my body is built and strong 💪 NOT with nips, tucks, plastic, or silicone, but through a healthy lifestyle,” MTG wrote in the post.

Taylor Greene, who will be turning 50 on May 27, wrote in her post that she plans to remain active with all the extracurricular activities she participates in.

“Soon turning 50 years old, God willing, I will continue to lift, run, swim, play sports, surf, ski, climb and LIVE this life to the fullest and enjoy every single moment!” she wrote in the post.

MTG and AOC: Fight during House hearing

Georgia’s primary election

Rep. Taylor Greene's fight isn’t over yet. The 14th congressional district primary is May 21. Although no one is currently running against incumbent Greene in the Republican primary, she will have to face off against a Democratic challenger in the general election on Nov. 5.

The four candidates vying to win the Democratic primary are:

According to Ballotpedia, Luke Farmer (R-GA) was to run against MTG. However, Farmer is classified as a "disqualified or withdrawn candidate" for the election.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Farmer announced the end of his campaign.

"It's now the evening before election night, and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has come to support me, now and forever," Farmer wrote on the post. "I know my campaign wasn't that great, and I didn't even qualify for the ballot. But that doesn't mean write-ins aren't an option. Win or lose I still would like to say thank you to everyone especially my campaign team."

MTG gets an endorsement from former President Trump

Former President Donald Trump endorsed MTG in a post on Truth Social on Sunday.

“Marjorie Taylor Greene is a fantastic Representative for the people of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District,” Trump wrote in the post. “A true Fighter for our America First Movement, Marjorie is working tirelessly to secure our Border, end Migrant Crime, stop Inflation, support our Great Military/Vets, defend our always under siege Second Amendment, ensure Election Integrity, and hold Joe Biden and the Radical Left accountable for their UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWFARE AND ELECTION INTERFERENCE. Marjorie Taylor Greene has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

‘A Crockett Clapback Collection’

Rep. Crockett advertised merchandise on X featuring comments made about MTG during the Oversight Committee on Saturday. According to Crockett, the merchandise will soon be available for purchase.

“So we are going to drop “A Crockett Clapback Collection.” This collection will feature various swag that includes random things I’ve said,” Crockett wrote in the post. “The money will go to ensuring that we have a Democratic House! Give me a little time to really get the swag online etc., but B6 will drop first.”

Crockett asked her followers to post any ideas for any other merchandise they would like to see in the future.

Crockett’s response to MTG has since gone viral on social media making an appearance on Saturday Night Live and being compared to the reality TV show “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
