MSU listed at No. 5 in The Athletic’s Big Ten CBB power rankings

Brendan Quinn of The Athletic believes the Spartans will again be near the top of the Big Ten next season.

Quinn released his early summer Big Ten power rankings on Monday, which have the Spartans fairing better than this past season. Quinn pegged Michigan State as the fifth-best team in the league, only behind Michigan, Purdue, Maryland and Ohio State.

Quinn’s Big Ten power rankings seem about spot on with everything else I’ve seen so far this off-season. At least as far as the top of the league goes, and where Michigan State lands.
