Mr. T’s Fond Memories of Nancy Reagan

Nancy Reagan, former first lady and actress, died on Sunday at the age of 94. Mr. T recently shared a fond memory of working with Nancy Reagan while she was in the White House. During his time on the show the A-Team, Mr. T had been working with kids to encourage them to stay in school and not do drugs. Nancy Reagan heard about his work and invited him to come to Washington D.C. to work on her “Just Say No” campaign.

The highlight of his story was playing Santa Claus at the White House. He said, “I was one of the wildest Santa Clauses they ever had. I had my cutoff sleeves and my combat boots on.” Nancy sat on his lap and gave him a kiss on his head, leaving the world with a mismatched and touching photo. Mr. T went on to say that it was an honor to work with Nancy Reagan.
