Mozart's Requiem the centerpiece of concert by the South Bend Symphony and Chamber Singers
SOUTH BEND — The South Bend Symphony Orchestra and South Bend Chamber Singers perform at 2:30 p.m. March 17 at the University of Notre Dame’s DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
Brahms’ Geistliches Lied opens the concert with Chamber Singers Director Nancy Menk conducting. The short piece has a deep and contemplative character.
Then, SBSO Music Director Alastair Willis, the orchestra and the Chamber Singers unite for Mozart’s Requiem in D minor. The performance features soloists Erin Taylor, Jeffery Dean and Scottie Rodgers.
