Organizers encourage families to bring their own chairs and blankets to make sitting on the grass more comfortable. Drinking water is also recommended. A concession stand will open at 7 p.m. with showtime happening an hour later.

Friday’s event is taking place after a May 4 screening was canceled due to poor weather.
