A moveable, and international, feast: Lynn Haven hosts first International Food Truck Friday

LYNN HAVEN — The city of Lynn Haven is debuting International Food Truck Friday, starting this Friday, March 1.

The event will be held at Sharon Sheffield Park from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

According to a press release from the city, International Food Truck Friday is an event that will allow residents to explore diverse flavors from an array of food trucks across Bay County. More than 20 food trucks are scheduled to park at Pennsylvania Avenue and 10th Street, offering a variety of cuisines.

The event also will include artistic performances, face painting and lawn games.

"International Food Truck Friday is a great opportunity for all people, no matter their background, to be together, collectively appreciating the uniqueness of cultures that are also not our own," Vickie Gainer, Lynn Haven city manager, is quoted as saying in the release. "We have so many talented local vendors and performers. We hope everyone can come out and show their support!"
