The Mountain From 'Game Of Thrones' Lifted Ed Sheeran Over His Head Like He Was Nothing

The Mountain, from the HBO series "Game Of Thrones," lifted Ed Sheeran up over his head, and we have video to prove this actually happened.

Sheeran was in Iceland recently and met with The Mountain, aka Hafþór Björnsson.

You'll remember that Sheeran got a bit part in "Game Of Thrones." The singer got to play a Lannister soldier in Season 7, and even had the chance to show off his vocal talents.

"He asked for it. Luckily I didn’t drop him... He has to work tonight!!" wrote The Mountain.

The actor recently said requests to be lifted and/or have your eyes fake-gouged out are common with him, but he tries not to lift up everyone who asks for it.

“I get a lot of requests fans asking if I want to squeeze their eyes. That’s very popular. Or pick them up over head. But the most popular to squeeze their eyes out … I don’t lift anyone. Usually just girls. I have had to say no because if I’m going to lift one person then so many others are going to ask to be lifted too. If it’s just one person, okay, but it’s crowded then I know others are going to ask. You have to try to be fair to everyone you know.”

No Eye-Gouging, Please

This is apparently a Thing with The Mountain, according to Nathalie Emmanuel, who played Missandei on the show.

Underneath the Instagram pic, Emmanuel posted, “You did this to me at that wrap party in Spain remember? LOL.”
