Motorists Stranded in Snow on London Motorway
Motorists were left stranded on London’s M25 motorway overnight into December 12, as the UK Met Office issued an updated weather warning, advising of snow and ice for parts of southeast England.
Video filmed by Nick Pearce shows lines of motorists stranded on the M25 with cars at a standstill amongst the icy roads.
“Total shambles,” Pearce tweeted.
On Monday morning, the Met Office issued a separate weather warning for ice and snow in the southeast, advising that snow and icy patches will lead to difficult travel conditions into Tuesday. Credit: Nick Pearce via Storyful
