BATTLE CREEK — Live music returns to the rolling hills of Leila Arboretum this weekend with the 13th annual Leilapalooza Music Festival.

The 72-acre municipally-owned arboretum will welcome local artists, regional artists and music lovers alike for a full day of music on Saturday, July 29.

The event is free and open to the public, though there is a $10 on-site parking fee.

The event's organizers — Battle Creek Metropolitan Area Moustache Society and Leila Arboretum — say the festival will feature nearly 40 bands performing music from a variety of genres across three stages. Live music begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and runs until midnight.

It's "the most music you can pack into a Saturday for less money than a trip to your favorite fast food joint," organizers said.
