‘Most Likely To’: Donald Faison & Laya DeLeon Hayes Cast In ABC Comedy Pilot

Scrubs alum Donald Faison and Laya DeLeon Hayes (Doc McStuffins) are set to co-star opposite Yvette Nicole Brown and Lesli Margherita in ABC comedy pilot Most Likely To, from Diablo Cody, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. TV.

Written by Cody and directed by Pam Fryman, Most Likely To centers on Liz Cooney (Margherita) and Markie McQueen (Brown). In high school, Liz had everything and Markie had nothing. Twenty years later, they’re reunited under the same roof as single moms and unlikely housemates.

Faison will play Joe McQueen, Markie’s supportive, blue-collar ex-husband and first love. He is a much more relaxed parent than she is. Hayes plays Wallis McQueen, Markie’s intelligent and charitable daughter.

Cody executive produces with Berlanti Prods.’ Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.

Faison recurs on Showtime’s Ray Donovan and hosts GSN’s Winsanity. He also has the indie feature The Wave in the can. Faison is repped by UTA and Fuller Law.

Hayes voices the title character on the Disney Junior animated series Doc McStuffins. She is recurring in the upcoming season of CBS’ Code Black and previously recurred on Amazon’s Just Add Magic and Disney’s Liv and Maddie. She is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group and attorney Eric Suddleson.
