The 90 Day Fiancé franchise is well-known for its many iconic quotes that fans love to reference. However, Twitter user “Anfisa’s Red Bag” recently posted a thread pointing out that there are several iconic items in the franchise as well. The thread asked fellow fans which “artifacts” from the franchise they would put in the 90 Day Fiancé museum if there was one. Here are some of our favorites below. Do you remember these iconic items?

Danielle’s Evidence Binder

Shortly after Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali got married, Mohamed moved out of Danielle’s state of Ohio to move to Miami, saying he did not want to be married to her anymore. Danielle then traveled to Miami to present Mohamed with a binder of “evidence” that Mohamed had not taken their marriage seriously.

The binder allegedly included text conversations that Mohamed had with other women while married to Danielle. When Mohamed didn’t want to look at the binder, Danielle threw it at him, yelling “You’re a user, Mohamed! You used me!” Although this episode aired almost a decade ago, fans still reference the binder in memes and posts, making it one of the franchise’s most iconic items.

Anfisa’s Red Bag With Her Makeup

Anfisa Arkhipchenko was notorious in 90 Day Fiancé Season 4 for being materialistic and downright toxic. One of the most famous Anfisa scenes was when she yelled at her partner  Jorge Nava, seemingly unprompted, to “Bring me my red bag with my makeup!”

Therefore, Anfisa’s red bag has become one of the most famous items in the franchise. Some people have even made red makeup bags with the phrase to sell as unofficial merch.

The Promise Ring Tim “Repurposed”

In 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 3, Tim Malcolm from North Carolina took a trip to Colombia to meet his then-girlfriend Jeniffer Tarazona. Throughout the trip, Tim doesn’t give Jeniffer as much affection as she wants, but when he is about to leave, he shows her his dedication by giving her a promise ring. When Jeniffer asked where Tim got the ring, he revealed that he had bought it years ago, for his ex Veronica Rodriguez. Tim and Veronica didn’t sustain a romantic relationship but remained very close friends after their break-up and co-parented Veronica’s daughter, Chloe.

It was Veronica’s idea that Tim gives the ring to Jeniffer since he had spent money on it and it was not in use. Jeniffer already didn’t love Tim and Veronica’s close relationship (no one does, do they), so the repurposed ring was extra upsetting for her. Spoiler alert, Tim and Jeniffer didn’t work out, but the repurposed ring remains one of the most iconic items in the franchise.

Deavan’s Translator

In 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Utah woman Deavan Clegg and South Korean man Jihoon Lee attempted to make their long-distance relationship work when they discovered they had a baby on the way. However, the distance wasn’t their only worry. Jihoon wasn’t great at managing money and making plans, and neither Deavan nor Jihoon spoke their partner’s language very well.

Luckily, Deavan had a translating device to assist them in their conversations! However, it wasn’t a great translator and often led to miscommunications. For example, in this video, Deavan tells Jihoon that she doesn’t understand why he put money in his mom’s savings account instead of using it to help Deavan shortly after she gave birth to their son, Taeyang.

Into the translator, Jihoon says he put the money in his mom’s account because he was afraid of making more money mistakes. He says he won’t waste money again. However, the translator incorrectly announces that Jihoon instead said “I’ll make another mistake and I’ll waste that money again.” 90-Day Fiancé fans were entertained by the bad translator all through this couple’s segments.

Gino’s Hat

Ever since Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda first hit 90 Day Fiancé viewers’ screens, Gino has refused to take his hat off. Gino’s insistence on wearing his hat became a trope throughout the series. In one argument between Gino and Jasmine, the Panamanian woman hit Gino’s hat off his head.

Much to viewers’ delight, Gino had a backup hat ready in his backpack that he took out right away to cover his head. Reality TV gold! The only other time viewers see Gino’s head is when Gino willingly takes off his hat for a wedding picture when he and Jasmine finally get married.
