At the 81st annual event on Sunday, celebrities walked the red carpet in standout suits, see-through dresses, and daring ensembles.

Here are some of the most daring looks seen throughout the night.

Andra Day was both daring and glamorous in an asymmetrical dress.

Georges Chakra designed her black gown, which had a single strap decorated with a floral embellishment, a see-through layer of fabric over a black bodysuit, and a skirt that extended into a skinny train across the floor.

Day wore the dress with pointed pumps, mesh gloves, and diamond jewels.

Utkarsh Ambudkar wore a unique suit to the Golden Globes.

His suit was both quilted and a metallic silver shade. He wore it with a black shirt and a bow tie underneath, and silver fringe shoes completed the look.

Lenny Kravitz's tuxedo had a daring detail that you might've missed.

Her face had healed by the Golden Globes, but Pike told Malkin she wore the veil anyway because she "fell in love with the look."
