Watch What Happens Live will celebrate 15 years on air in July 2024. Over the years, there has been no shortage of awkward moments, from celebrity disses to drinks being thrown. I guess that’s what happens when you let your guests sip on cocktails while they spill the tea.

To celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary let’s take a look back at some of the most awkward moments in WWHL history:

Zoe Kravitz Disses Lily Allen

Zoe Kravitz set the record straight about her rumored kiss with singer-songwriter Lily Allen during a 2018 appearance on WWHL. The actress responded to a fan who asked how she felt about Lily writing about the kiss in her memoir by saying, “Who [is] Lily Allen?” Shadyyyy. She then said the singer “attacked” her and misrepresented the encounter in her book. It appeared to be a fresh wound for Zoe and the whole thing was very awkward.

Brandi Glanville Throws a Drink on Jeff Lewis

Brandi Glanville had a quintessential Real Housewives moment when she threw a glass of wine on Jeff Lewis during a 2015 WWL appearance. Jeff made a joke about potentially catching an STD from Brandi touching him, which appeared to upset the Bravo star. She responded by throwing a drink at him. The moment left fans stunned and Andy Cohen was at a loss for words. After the show, Brandi revealed the moment was a prank and let fans know that she and Jeff are all good.

“It was a PRANK! We kissed and hit the town @JLJeffLewis[.] Watch After Show,” she wrote in a tweet alongside a photo of her and Jeff kissing.

Amber Rose Questions Andy Cohen’s Relationship With Anderson Cooper

Amber Rose turned the tables on Andy when she asked him a personal question about his sex life. The singer asked if he and his BFF Anderson Cooper had ever been intimate. The question seemed to catch Andy off-guard. He laughed nervously and buried his face in his hand before stating that he and Anderson never did the deed.

Chelsea Handler Trashes the Real Housewives Franchise

During an appearance on WWHL, Comedian Chelsea Handler told Andy she is not a fan of the Real Housewives franchise. She called the reality television series “sick” and pushed back on Andy’s claim that she had Housewives stars on her E! show. The moment was totally cringy.

Sonja Morgan Flirting With Craig Conover

Real Housewives of New York alum Sonja Morgan stopped by the Clubhouse in 2017 to flirt with Southern Charm star Craig Conover. She appeared to be one too many cocktails deep and started making crude comments about Craig. It was classic Sonja but it was pretty awkward.

Patti LuPone Calls Madonna a Movie Killer

During a 2017 WWHL appearance, Broadway legend Patti LuPone shared some harsh words about pop superstar Madonna. The Tony winner was asked if she and Madonna ever talked about playing Evita in the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical of the same name. She responded by trashing Madonna’s interpretation of the role, calling it a “piece of sh*t.” Yikes.

Brandi Glanville Insults Joanna Krupa

Brandi stopped by the Clubhouse in 2013 where she shared some private information about Real Housewives of Miami alum Joanna Krupa. Andy informed the RHOBH star that Joanna had shaded her on Twitter, writing, “No wonder her husband left her.” She replied by making a crude comment about Joanna’s feminine “odor.” The comment took everyone in the Clubhouse by surprise, including Andy’s parents who looked mortified behind the WWHL bar.

Kate Chastain Shades Rocky Dakota

Below Deck stars Rocky Dakota and Kate Chastain had an awkward moment during a 2020 appearance on WWHL. Kate commented about Rocky not being the best yachtie and Rocky took offense. Kate tried to make up for the diss by praising Rocky’s other talents but she was unsuccessful. The whole thing was super awkward.
