These Morristown High School seniors shared $350,000 in college scholarships
The Morris Educational Foundation gave out more than $350,000 in college scholarships last month to 26 members of the Morristown High School class of 2023.
The scholarships ranged from $1,000 to $100,000, with all the money provided by Morristown alumni and other local foundations and individuals. The recipients were announced at the school's annual award night in June and celebrated with their families and donors at a breakfast reception two days later.
"We are honored to award scholarships to 26 outstanding Morristown High School seniors," said Molly Servais, MEF scholarship chair and a member of the Board of Trustees. "It is inspiring to help them pursue the next chapter of their academic careers through the continued generosity of our amazing scholarship donors. We look forward to following their future successes."
The top honors went to Katherine Chiqui Zumba and Quinisha St. Agathe, who were awarded the Judy and Eliot Steinberg Scholarship. Both will receive up to $25,000 for each of the next four years as they continue their education at The College of New Jersey.

The MEF is a nonprofit organization that helps support various educational programs and initiatives in support of the Morris School District. The foundation has awarded more than $2.3 million since the first scholarships were given out 22 years ago.
