After spending the past five years redefining the definition of being a domestic streaming juggernaut, 2024 finds Academy of Country Music and Billboard award-winning singer-songwriter Morgan Wallen aiming for increased global acclaim.

On Jul. 4, 2024, the "Last Night" vocalist will play London's Hyde Park.

Since the 1960s, millions of visitors from London, the UK, and across the globe have visited Hyde Park — one of London's eight Royal Parks.

The 350 acres of green space in central London hosts yearly summer concerts, which provide the funds necessary to maintain and develop the parks.

Tickets go on sale on March 13 at 10 a.m. GMT at www.bst-hydepark.com. Supporting talent will be announced at a later date.

"Last fall was my first time in the UK and man, I loved it. I saw so much while I was there, and the people were incredible," offered Wallen via a press statement.

2024 ended with Wallen achieving 11 chart-toppers at country radio, plus wrapping a world tour that saw him visit five countries and three continents in 57 shows.

Global sales, visibility on the rise

The concert is added to recent moments where English landmarks have intersected with Wallen's North American country stardom.

He commemorated a year since the release of his 36-track, country and crossover chart-topping and quintuple platinum-selling album "One Thing At A Time" with the March 3 release of seven songs recorded at Studio Two at London's Abbey Road Studios on Dec. 5, 2023 — before his performance at the English capital city's O2 Arena.

In a room where Adele, The Beatles, Oasis, Pink Floyd and Ed Sheeran (among many) have laid down tracks, Wallen re-recorded "One Thing At A Time" songs "Thinkin' Bout Me," "Sunrise, "Everything I Love," "I Wrote The Book" and "I Deserve A Drink."

As well, an unreleased fan-favorite, "Lies Lies Lies," and a never-before-recorded cover of British alternative rock band Nothing But Thieves' "Graveyard Whistling" are included in the compilation.

"Playing the O2 in London last fall and getting to record at Abbey Road, where so much iconic music has been made, was legendary for me and my band. We will never forget it," shared Wallen in a press statement about his maiden voyage to London.

Reflecting on the significance of his upcoming show, Wallen adds, "To play where legendary artists like Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones have played is a huge honor for me and my band, and we can't wait to be back."

For the past year, on Billboard's three-and-a-half-year-old Global 200 singles chart (which ranks the top songs globally based on digital sales and online streaming from over 200 territories worldwide weekly), Wallen has placed the "One Thing At A Time" album tracks "Everything I Love," "I Wrote the Book," "Last Night," "One Thing at a Time," "Thought You Should Know" and "You Proof" in the chart's top-40.
