Embattled award-winning country artist Morgan Wallen, who faced controversy in 2021 for using a racial slur, is releasing his third album, "One Thing At A Time" on Mar. 3.

He's commemorating the release of the 36-track mega-project in a most unprecedented manner — a free concert.

"I’m gonna do acoustic… everyone’s asking me why I’m not doing a Tennessee show. I’m doing one now. Friday, 3/3. See you there,” Wallen shared with fans.

Fans can only reserve tickets in person at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and are capped at two tickets per person.

The in-the-round show kicks-off Friday night at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.

The free concert follows a Marathon Music Works-hosted three-night "preview experience" of "One Thing at a Time from February 20-22, featuring three separately ticketed "sessions" each night.

"This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows," Wallen shared via a press release. "It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop."

The album is the followup to 2021's "Dangerous" which was released in January 2021. The next month, Wallen faced backlash when a video surfaced of him using a racial slur. Which led to swift reaction from the music industry.

Big Loud Records suspended his contract, his songs were pulled from radio stations – including the largest conglomerate, iHeartRadio – and CMT yanked his videos off-air. The Academy of Country Music pulled Wallen from eligibility for the 56th annual ACM Awards.

Wallen apologized, saying it was "unacceptable and inappropriate" with a "promise to do better."

While the industry largely shunned Wallen, his fans rewarded the singer with skyrocketing album sales.. In 2022, he was back in the running at the ACM Awards, winning 2022 album of the year.

"There are 36 songs on this album because we just kept exploring with fresh lyrics, music and production ideas and these are the songs that felt right to me," Wallen said of his upcoming release. "It was a blast to create, and I was so grateful to be back in the studio to lay this out for my fans."

Wallen's stadium world tour kicks off overseas March 15-24 in New Zealand and Australia with HARDY as an opener. Then, he will return stateside on April 15 with a concert in Milwaukee.
