Will More Members Of The Royal Family Be "Fired?"

Even those living in a cave have heard about the scandal involving Prince Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein and a certain BBC interview.

Now, with Prince Andrew basically being fired from his own family, it has made many people once again question the large number of "working" royals. It seems this has also been on the mind of Prince Charles if rumors are to be believed.

Speculation has been rife that Queen Elizabeth II may allow Prince Charles to take over as "Prince Regent," performing more and more official duties as he prepares to take the throne in the future.

Prince Charles Influenced The Decisions Over Prince Andrew

It has been reported that both Prince Charles and Prince William played a part in getting the Queen to force Prince Andrew into early retirement, effectively stripping him of any royal duties.

Prince Andrew was always pushing for his daughters, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice to have more responsibilities within the royal family, however, after his recent scandal it seems he will just have to keep his mouth shut, and deal with whatever happens in the future.

The recent scandal has given Prince Charles even more incentive to scale back the monarchy.

Prince Charles Desires A Scaled Back Monarchy

The deputy editor of Royal Central has said “I think the Andrew crisis has definitely strengthened Prince Charles's desire for a slimmed-down monarchy. Prince Andrew is now out of the picture. I don't see him ever undertaking royal duties again, and any hope that his daughters would is now gone."

She continued, “So the process of slimming the monarchy has already begun as we know Charles was pushing his mother to meet with Andrew and have him step back from his royal duties. I think when it's all said and done, the monarchy will be Charles and his children and grandchildren."

While many people thought rumors of Prince Charles' desire to scale back the monarchy were untrue, the way he has handled the recent scandal proves the speculation may be based in fact.

Another editor of Royal Central told The Daily Star, “I should imagine there were plenty of people skeptical of reports that Prince Charles wanted a slimmed-down monarchy when he became king.”

It seems as if scaling back the monarchy to Prince Charles and his children would make the most sense, being that they're all the most talked about members of the royal family, carrying out the most public responsibilities.

The Virginia Roberts Interview

The timing of this is not surprising, considering the fact that Virginia Roberts, Jeffrey Epstein's former sex slave who accused Prince Andrew of sleeping with her when she was underage, has her own interview airing today. It's safe to say, the whole world will be watching to see what she says. Prince Andrew will most likely be sweating profusely while he watches.

Only time will tell what will happen to the monarchy, especially after today's interview, but it appears Prince Charles has everything under control.
