The upcoming fantasy C-drama Moonlit Reunion has finished filming and will premiere soon. This Wuxia fantasy drama features Xu Kai and Tian Xiwei in the main roles. It tells the story of Wu Zhen (Tian Xiwei), the daughter of the Duke of Henan. She has lived a sheltered life, embracing a carefree lifestyle. Wu Zhen even dons men’s clothing and is seen visiting brothels. The people of the city of Chang’an are not fond of how she influences the kids to live the same way. Her nifty lifestyle earns her an infamous title. But it does not bother her.
Furthermore, Wu Zhen possesses a supernatural power that helps her see spirits. The power has been handed down to her by a cat master after rescuing her from an accident when she was a young girl. Henceforth, Wu Zhen inherits the title of the new cat master and becomes the silent protector of the kingdom.

O ther than the lead actors, Moonlit Reunion will also feature Wang Jia Yi, Wu Jun Ting, Yi Da Qian, Fan Shi Ran, Nick Shan, Lei Wei Ming, Roy Xire, Zhu Zheng Ting, Snow Kong, and Huang Yi in pivotal roles. It is an adaptation of Fu Hua’s “Mei Fu Ren Chong Fu Ri Chang.” Lu Hao Ji Ji is the director of the drama.
All 36 episodes of Moonlit Reunion will soon be available for streaming on Tencent Video.
